"I spent weeks looking all over Des Moines for an apartment close to the center of town without being right downtown. Every time I found an apartment it would be missing something, "insufficient parking", "too far from city", "dirty", "too expensive", etc. I am so happy I found the Grand Trees Apartments! These apartments are clean, ample parking day or night, close to downtown and right next to my internet provider which means my internet connection speeds are very fast! "I have lived here for about 15 years. I can honestly tell you that I have never felt more at home in an apartment setting than I do here at the Grand Trees apts. I have spent my life in various apartment complexes throughout central Iowa. I have developed friendly relations with many of the tenants, my Golden Retriever has made friends with the other dogs, I have been invited to and have invited others to cook-outs in the large private park behind the buildings and I get along great with all of the staff here. This is Tiki, she is a 3 year old Umbrella Cockatoo who has lived at the Grand Trees for all of her life. She enjoys the quite clean atmosphere. Her cage is next to the window o she has a beautiful view of the Governor’s Mansion across the street on Terrace Hill. Sometimes the hummingbirds fly up to our window and look in which my Tiki just loves! |

"Ever since I moved to the Grand Trees I have felt safe and secure. I know that if I have had a problem the maintenance guys will come right away, day or night… and they have! Having the manager living right here just makes it that much easier to get in touch with her if there is an emergency. I couldn’t ask to live in a safer, friendlier environment. These are my new baby hamsters. They are just brand new and I do not have names for them. The mommy is named Toby because we didn’t know Toby was a girl! I am so glad I can have pets at my apartment and I just love my hamsters and my cat Cleo! |

I’m Annie, I have a step brother and two step sisters named Big Red, Misty and Buffy. They are cats. When I get to go outside I love to RUN RUN RUN. I also love to chase the squirrels and birds and rabbits and anything else that moves. My Brother and sisters love to laze around the house, chase laser pens, look out the window and sneak around when I am asleep.
